Leon chose to become an RMT, in the hopes of being able to help others achieve optimal health. He acquired his RMT license upon graduation from Vancouver Career College. He was inspired to go into this field while working as a trainer and listening to his clients and people around him talk about their chronic injuries. He is very passionate in terms of maintaining quality health. He believes postural correction and proper exercise mechanics can help improves one’s overall health. Living a healthy active lifestyle himself lead him to want to work with patients who have sports related injuries. His goals are to help patients achieve this with a proper assessment and treatment plan followed by a tailored home care regimen. Leon has worked with aiding others in their rehabilitation process through his experience as a trainer.
Prior to becoming a massage therapist, he has worked as a trainer to help improve the physical condition of LPGA professional golfers and baseball players. He has a lot of experience as a professional athlete in Korea, and has continued his interests in sports in the U.S. and Canada.
